Privacy Policy — Superalloy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

This page is a published copy. The policy is maintained in the game repository, in docs/PRIVACY.md, which is its source of truth.

What the game collects

Nothing. Superalloy has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting and no telemetry of its own. It never asks for a name, an email address or any other personal information, and it does not read your contacts, your location, your photos or your files.

Your progress — unlocked towers, cards, currency, completed missions — is written to your device's private application storage. It stays there, nothing sends it anywhere, and uninstalling the game deletes it.

Advertising

Superalloy embeds the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) in order to show rewarded advertisements.

A rewarded advertisement is never shown on its own. It appears only after you have deliberately pressed an offer that names the reward it gives, and you can decline that offer or close the advertisement at any moment. The game has no banners and no interstitials: nothing plays that you did not ask for.

The game remains entirely playable offline, and entirely playable without ever watching an advertisement. Everything an advertisement grants can also be obtained by playing; watching one is a shortcut, never a gate.

Before you ask for anything

Showing an advertisement takes your press, but preparing one does not, and we would rather say so plainly. When the game starts on Android, three things happen on their own: it asks Google's consent platform for your consent information, it initialises the Google Mobile Ads SDK, and it loads one rewarded advertisement into memory so that it is ready if you ever press an offer. Each advertisement you watch is replaced by another in the same way.

Those steps reach Google's servers before you have pressed anything, and they are what the section below describes. With no network, they simply fail: nothing about you leaves the device, and the game runs as usual.

What Google may collect

Every one of those requests goes to Google, and Google — not us — collects and processes the data needed to select, deliver and measure advertisements. By Google's own account this can include your IP address, device and advertising identifiers, information about your device and about the app, your interactions with the advertisement, and diagnostic data.

That processing is governed by Google's policies, not by this one:

We do not receive any personal data in return. The AdMob console shows us aggregate figures only: how many advertisements were shown, and what they earned.

Consent

When the game starts, it asks Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for your consent information, and it shows the consent form when that platform says one is required and provides one — which is how the rules of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are applied. Your answer is stored and applied by Google's SDK. If the platform provides no form, or does not answer, the game does not block you: it carries on, and the advertising SDK applies whatever consent state Google holds for your device.

That choice is not final. The Privacy entry in the game's main menu reopens the form whenever Google's consent platform provides one, so you can change or withdraw your consent; where it provides none, that entry opens this page instead. Android's own settings also let you reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalised advertising; Google's SDK reads those settings directly.

Children

Superalloy is not directed at children under 13. The game itself collects nothing about anyone. Advertisements are selected and delivered by Google under the policies linked above.

Your choices, in short

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted at this address with a new date, and the file it is copied from lives in the game's repository.
